With a genre-bending groove that’s both electric and eclectic — lavishly layered with synths, twisted samples, and a quirky homage to orthodontia — Teagan Faran & Nicole Brancato transform their violin / piano duo into a fantastical dance party.

Persephone & the Phoenix crafts curiosity through electroacoustic experimentation. The NYC-based duo taps into the synergy between composition, curation, and technology by expanding
the boundaries of genre, stage, and storytelling. Their extensive credits include premieres at the Banff Centre (Canada) and Gesellschaftshaus Magdeburg (Germany), residencies at Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre (NYC) and DePauw University (IN), and appearances at the CUSP Re:Sound Festival (Cleveland, OH) & New Music Gathering (Portland, OR).
